   Quote of the Day

Dependence begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue, and prepares fit tools for the designs of ambition.

What does the word 'inspiration' mean? By definition (Merriam-Webster) , inspiration is: 'something that makes someone want to do something or that gives someone an idea about what to do or create : a force or influence that inspires someone.'

The world is full of inspirational people. Both past and present. By virtue of their own abilities to communicate and draw interest to their musings, they have created an endless well of information, speeches, quotes and sayings to give us something new to learn each day of our lives.

What inspires a person? For everyone, that answer is different. For everyone, that source is the same: history, news, politics, phylosophy, phylanthropy, charity, imagination, you name it... The list goes on and on.

I only have one request of my viewers: Keep an open mind. While many quotes and sayings can be very specific, there is always something to be gained. Don't always pay attention to the author either (especially politically affiliated figures), but rather absorb their message as if it were coming from someone you know. You may find a completely different understanding of the quote despite the source.
